WWBW Power Up Series Money Moves: Financial Literacy in Action Masterclass Recap

On Sunday, August 2, 2026, #WinWithBlackWomen hosted more than 300 participants in the second installment of the Win With Black Women Power Up Series: Money Moves: Financial Literacy in Action, led by financial expert Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche. This session was a masterclass equipping the WWBW community with tools, information, connection, and power to take control of their financial futures and learn what it means to build wealth with intention, knowledge, and community.

Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche

Bio: Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche has created a global financial movement through her company, The Budgetnista, helping more than two million women collectively save over $350 million, pay off more than $200 million in debt, purchase homes, and transform their relationship with money. Members of this movement are known as Dream Catchers.

Tiffany’s passion for financial education was shaped by her 10 years as a preschool teacher in Newark, NJ. In 2019, she partnered with Assemblywoman Angela V. McKnight to create legislation that became New Jersey’s “Budgetnista Law,” requiring financial education to be integrated into middle schools statewide.

She is also the founder and lead educator of Live Richer Academy and co-host of the Webby Award-winning podcast Brown Ambition. Her financial expertise has been featured by Good Morning America, TODAY, PBS, TIME, The New York Times, ESSENCE, Forbes, CNN, and MSNBC. In 2021, she became the first solo Black woman to grace the cover of Money magazine.
