WWBW Power Up Series Understanding & Mastering AI Masterclass Recap

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, and Sunday, June 28, 2026, #WinWithBlackWomen welcomed more than 625 participants to the First Edition of the Power Up Masterclass Series: Understanding & Mastering AI, led by Alexandra (Ally) Legend Siegel and Leah McGown-Hare. The two-session series equipped attendees with practical insights and strategies for understanding, leveraging, and confidently applying AI in their personal and professional lives.


Power Up Masterclass Feature Speakers:


Bio: Alexandra (Ally) Legend Siegel a seasoned HR, equality, and marketing executive with deep experience driving talent, culture, technology, and industry transformations. She is focused on unlocking engagement, opportunity, and innovation in the future of AI and Agent technology.


She has been named among Business Insider’s Rising Stars in Tech, AdColor's Change Agent Award, and Top Women in Travel and Hospitality for her work leading company and industry transformation to create equality, access, and innovation for all. She also dedicates her time to non-profit board service focused on mentorship and reskilling.


Bio: Leah McGowen-Hare is an accomplished executive, thought leader, and master technical trainer with 20+ years’ experience. She specializes in accelerating AI and agentic adoption and developing programs that make tech accessible to everyone. She has held senior roles in software development, technical training, and forward deployed engineering with a super power for turning complex, technical concepts into easy and digestible hands-on learning. Leah is also an experienced speaker on the future of work, education, technology and equality – delivering keynotes to stadium audiences across various technology conferences. She was also awarded one of the Most Powerful Business Women in the Bay Area. She is passionate about serving others through teaching and volunteering to address food insecurity.
